CANCELLATION POLICY:
BED & BREAKFAST AND THE GUEST INN, ROOMS AND SUITES
We charge your credit card at time of booking and require seventy-two (72) hours notice prior to the date of your arrival for cancellation.  No refunds within seventy-two (72) hours of arrival.  If we are able to rebook your cancelled date within the 72 hours after you notify us, we will refund, less a $35.00 cancellation fee.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
LODGES
Cancellation 45 days or more prior to arrival date is subject to a cancellation fee equal to fifty percent of the total booked value.  If notification is less than 45 days prior to arrival date, there will be no refund unless the premises is re-rented.  In the event, refunds will be granted, the refund will be only equal to the extent the premises is occupied.  No refund for deletion of a quest within 45 days prior to arrival date.
THERE WILL BE NO REFUND FOR ANY UNUSED PORTION OF YOUR STAY.
DAMAGE DEPOSIT, CHECK OR CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATION MUST BE PAID UPON ARRIVAL.

VCR USE:
The VCR is provided for your enjoyment, please do not insert foreign objects into the movie slot.
Featherwinds does not provide movies for the lodges or cabins.  However, Just Plain Grocery Store does offer movie rentals.  To use the VCR, tune the TV to channel 3, then turn on the VCR (press the VCR button on the remote and then press POWER).  Insert movie, press the PLAY button, and enjoy.

WEATHER & ROAD CONDITIONS:
Please visit our "Area Links" page.  Here you will find links to local weather and pass reports.  Weather conditions are not an acceptable reason for cancelling your reservation.  We cannot be responsible for weather or weather conditions.  When making your winter reservations, make sure you have proper equipment to drive in the snow.  We advice you have winter tires and chains with you.  Our roads are always kept open and in good condition for winter travel and our driveways are always plowed.

SUN AND HEAT:
Our lodges, The Inn and Bed & Breakfast were all built after 1991.  The insulation is very effective in keeping the heat out during the hotter days and the cold out during the colder months.  Each lodge has a propane fireplace along with electric heaters.

NO SMOKING AND NO PETS:
Featherwinds Lodging, LLC., is a NO PETS and NO SMOKING facility.  Effective as of December 8, 2005. The expanded Clean Indoor Act (RCW 70.160) has prohibited smoking in public places and within 25 feet of an entrance, exit, opening window or ventilation intake of this establishment.  Smoking is allowed in parking areas only.  Pets are not allowed, this includes the lodges, cabins, the Guest Inn and Bed & Breakfast.  Pets are not allowed to be kept in vehicles on Featherwinds property.

OFF ROAD VEHICLES:
The Plain River Road permits the use of snowmobiles on the River Road, which provides easy access to many trails in this area.  Just ask our staff or visit our local Ranger Station.  At no time are Off Road vehicles allowed to use the trails on Featherwinds property.  These trails are reserved for cross-country skiing and walking only.

BICYCLES:
Featherwinds has a few bikes available to the guests of the B & B and the Inn.  They are available on a first come first serve basis only.

NOISE:
Quiet time is 10:00pm as in accordence with County Laws and Regulations.

BOUNDARIES:
Each lodge sits on two to fourteen acres.  We have maps of the grounds here at Featherwinds and will make those maps available to our guests.  These maps designate private areas and private properties in the immediate area.  If guests in other cabins or lodges are not part of your group, please respect their privacy and stay on the Featherwinds Trails so as to not disturb other guests.  Please respect our neighbors and do not trespass.

FISHING:
Fish Lake is heavily stocked with trout, perch, large-mouth and small-mouth bass.  The Cove offers boat rentals and dock fishing.  Call The Cove for further information.
