Valentines Day is getting closer and accommodations are in short supply. We have only a few rooms available, if you are considering visiting Leavenworth for Valentines Day Weekend you should make your reservations now.

Leavenworth Weddings 2010

Leavenworth wedding for 2010 and early 2011 are being booked. Spring, summer, fall and winter are booking fast. If your date is important, you need to book soon.

August is starting out to be a popular month for weddings this year. If you are thinking of an August wedding you need to book and reserve your date now. June is no longer considered the “wedding month”. Yes, June is still a popular month, but August seems to be very popular for 2010.

Here at Featherwinds we do weddings every month of the year, we are not a seasonal, spring through fall wedding location. We are designed for destination weddings as well as day use weddings and we have packages for either type of wedding.

Our wedding planners and event coordinators listen to you and assist you in designing your special day or weekend. From the early planning stages to saying good night to your guests, our coordinators are there for you. If it is important to you, it is important to us.

Featherwinds offers indoor or outdoor weddings, wedding planners and coordinators, floral services by our own certified florists, catering and decorating services.

Snowfall Leavenworth Upper Valley

1/25/2010  We received approximately eight inches of new snow over night and into the early morning. Weather forecast is for snow off and on all this week.

With a fresh blanket of snow the Leavenworth Upper Valley is more beautiful than ever. If you have missed your trip to Leavenworth to enjoy the winter wonderland, now is your chance.

Leavenworth Weddings – August Weddings

Over the course of a few years, June has become less and less the “Wedding Month”. This year it seems to be August is very popular for weddings just as it was last  year. If you are thinking of having a August wedding at Featherwinds Lodging in the Leavenworth Upper Valley, you need to book now!

We are receiving several phone calls each day regarding an August wedding.  If you are firm on your desired date for your wedding, contact us immediately and book an appointment with our Wedding Coordinators to view our wedding grounds and to design your wedding.

If you tried calling us this weekend and left a message, you should be receiving a call back within the next day or so. We had a large wedding this weekend and let our answering service field all phone calls.

Berry Bunk House Lodge

We have just updated our webpage for our Cascade Berry Bunk House. The new layout has images with captions along side. The images allow a interior peek at our lodge.

The Bunk House is our largest vacation rental home that is fully furnished and is family orientated. The lodge has 4 private bedrooms with common area sleeping with hide-a-beds and futons. The Bunk House features a full kitchen with standard cookware for your convenience. The lodge also features an outside hot tub for you to relax and enjoy your stay.

We have just updated our Driving Directions webpage. This page has basic directions and a map image. The page also has links to a “print easy text directions and a print easy map image. Please visit these pages and print our directions and map.

Please view our map, this will give you a better idea as to our location. We are NOT in downtown Leavenworth. We are located outside of town in the Leavenworth Upper Valley, Lake Wenatchee – Fish Lake Recreation Area.

Navigation systems do not normally supply you with correct directions to Featherwinds Lodging. Navigation systems are not accurate for the Leavenworth Upper Valley.

Wedding Destination and Resort

Featherwinds Lodging has been hosting weddings, retreats and special events since 1991. We can lodge up to approximately 60 guests between our 5 facilities. Featherwinds offers accommodations in 2 bed and breakfasts and 3 cabins, lodges designed for families and large groups.

We maintain onsite staff for general maintenance; an electrician, appliance repair technician, wedding planners, coordinators, certified florists, and catering staff.

Through the years Featherwinds has grown to be in high demand for destination and day use weddings and retreats. Our wedding grounds feature a gazebo, waterfall and secret garden with a water fountain providing a beautiful location for outside wedding and photos. Our Sunroom is 2,000 plus open room featuring wall to wall carpet, knotty pine walls and ceiling and a custom rock fireplace creating a perfect location for inside weddings, receptions, retreats and special events.
